Client wanted...
Man against nature! Our regular agency partners, CMS, got in touch with a great brief: NBI were embarking on the epic task of connecting the uber remote Black Valley in Co. Kerry to fibre broadband – could we chart the process and convey the scale of the undertaking and the impact on the residents of the Valley? Yes... yes, we could.
So we did this...
A documentary film shot over 18 months following the work of NBI operations on the ground, through thick and thin. We stayed away from traditional interview set-ups and shot it using voiceover from audio interviews with those involved. The effect is footage with an easy naturalism that we complimented with a mix of both epic and granular visuals which convey the geographic breadth of the physical environment and the scale of the task at hand.
And then this happened...
A piece that encapsulates the NBI mission and is used extensively across their channels to convey their operations to the public and Government.
