Client wanted...

KPMG came to us with a pandemic classic; to work around travel and logistical restrictions, they wanted to in-house the bulk of their video comms.

So we did this...

From an initial brief for a basic green screen pop-up studio, we brought the client on a journey to a pan-functional TV studio which would allow for a distinct branding experience coupled with high-end, multi-cam filming. The studio was a design challenge; how to account for social distancing but also create a dynamic, memorable space. Our thinking also accounted for modularity and tonal shifts in content and it could be configured in a variety of styles (e.g. fireside chat, 1:1’s or panel discussions) depending on the ask. We facilitated an internal booking system that made for smooth operation and we manned it with a full time tech op. Kitted out with broadcast standard equipment, we also resourced it to be capable of regular live-streaming which proved a huge success for the client in terms of audience engagement. Meeting big brand expectations on a daily basis, we hosted a range of dignitaries and personalities including Dr. Mary Robinson, Hillary Clinton, Rachel Blackmore and Leona Maguire.

And then this happened...

A marriage of video and brand presence that produced a premium experience both for audiences and users. A transformation in internal brand thinking about what was achievable with comms and how both inwards and outwards facing messaging could be elevated and disseminated with speed and quality. Over 18 months, we oversaw a flawless operation with zero technical downs. It was also in our remit to upskill internal resources to allow the suite become locally managed and we were proud to hand it over having established a fantastic platform for the brand.
